Why Triple Whale needs you
As a Solutions Architect at Triple Whale, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how the most innovative ecommerce brands leverage our platform. We’re looking for a strategic problem-solver who can bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and real-world customer needs. You’ll be the go-to expert for architecting seamless integrations, optimizing data flows, and driving technical success across our most complex accounts. If you're passionate about solving hard problems, building scalable solutions, and making a tangible impact at a high-growth company, this is your opportunity to lead from the front.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the technical onboarding for our most complex customers, managing integration of Triple Whale’s APIs, JS pixel, and server-side data flows
- Collaborate with the customer's dev teams to ensure successful and timely deployment — acting as their dedicated technical point of contact
- Develop implementation plans, surface best practices, and assist with light scripting (e.g., Python, SQL, API) to support custom use cases
Act as a Technical Advisor to the CS Org
- Serve as an embedded technical partner to our Customer Success Managers, helping unblock and guide top accounts on product adoption, tracking setup, and advanced configurations
- Participate in escalations requiring deep technical investigation — using debugging tools (e.g., Postman, DevTools, logs) to identify and resolve issues
- Partner cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to provide feedback on gaps, blockers, and feature requests surfaced during implementation
- Help design repeatable onboarding flows and reusable solution patterns to scale future complex integrations
- Contribute to internal documentation, tooling, and enablement that helps the CS org become more self-sufficient over time
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years in solutions engineering, technical implementation, or support engineering roles with direct client-facing experience
- Strong hands-on experience with RESTful APIs — including implementation, authentication, testing, and custom integration design (Triple Whale API experience a plus)
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation, QA, and guiding customer-side analytics configuration
- Familiarity with JavaScript (especially for tracking and pixel integrations), and working knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (React, Redux)
- Comfort working with server-side scripting (e.g., Python, Node.js) for creating example payloads, testing integrations, or guiding customer dev teams
- Experience supporting technical stakeholders post-sale — including debugging webhook flows, diagnosing JS pixel issues, and helping teams adopt APIs
- Fluency in common integration debugging workflows using tools like Postman, cURL, browser DevTools, and server logs
- Basic understanding of modern cloud environments (AWS, GCP) and networking concepts (DNS, SSL/TLS, HTTP status codes)
- Ability to simplify complex technical topics for non-technical audiences, while also going deep with developers when needed
- Proven success partnering with Customer Success Managers to deliver technical onboarding and unblock top-tier customers
- Familiarity with the ecommerce ecosystem (Shopify, attribution, LTV/ROAS concepts, etc.) and how data flows through marketing and analytics platforms
- Experience gathering feedback from customer deployments to influence product direction and tooling improvements
- Ability to context-switch across multiple active accounts and prioritize implementation milestones with minimal oversight
Nice to have:
- Experience working with cloud function environments (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, DWH/DataLake) to prototype or test lightweight backend workflows
- Familiarity with ecommerce data strategy, including attribution modeling, LTV/ROAS reporting, and data stitching across marketing platforms
- Exposure to advanced tracking setups (e.g., server-side tag management, reverse proxies, or hybrid client/server instrumentation)
- Ability to enable or mentor non-technical stakeholders (e.g., CS teams, customer marketers) on technical solutions and integration workflows
- Experience handling technical escalations for high-value customers — including root cause analysis and working cross-functionally with Product/Engineering
- Comfortable contributing to internal tools, documentation, or repeatable templates that help scale implementation across accounts
