Corporate Development Analyst
Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Corporate Development Analyst for our Mergers & Acquisition team.
This analytical individual will conduct financial modeling and valuation analysis, support the due diligence process, and provide assistance to senior team members during the negotiation process.

This position reports to Corporate Development & Acquisition Manager. This role is hybrid and is based in Somerville, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial modeling and valuation analysis to assess potential acquisition targets
- Analyze financial statements and assess the financial health of companies
- Review documents related to each stage of prospecting an acquisition
- Execute the prospecting plan as directed
- Perform industry and market research to identify trends and potential targets
- Gather and analyze data on competitors and market conditions
- Assist in the due diligence process, coordinating with legal, finance, and operational teams to evaluate risks and opportunities
- Prepare due diligence reports summarizing findings and implications
- Prepare pitch books, presentations, and other materials for internal and external meetings
- Assist with drafting and reviewing key transaction documents, including offer letters and purchase agreements
- Support senior team members during meetings and negotiations
- Build relationships with prospects, investors, and other stakeholders
- Manage timelines and project deliverables to ensure smooth execution of transactions
- Assist in the planning, execution and reporting of integration strategies following an acquisition
- Assist with other post-closing adjustments and earn-out calculations
- Assist transaction approval process with internal stakeholders and financial stakeholders
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or economics required
- 0-2 years of experience in environmental services industry, acquisitions, business development, or financial modeling
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work successfully under pressure and manage multiple priorities and projects
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Must be willing to work onsite in our Somerville, MA office
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
- Domestic and international travel required 25% of the time and may be with little notice
- Flexibility with after work hours and weekend work
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
- Must have a reliable form of transportation
Preferred Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or consulting with exposure to M&A transactions
- Prior experience in the environmental industry
- Experience with M&A software and tools is a plus
