Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking an Associate Environmental Project Manager for our Somerville, MA team.

Responsibilities:
Sales Support
- Scope projects with account managers and service managers as appropriate.
- Facilitate the proposal process.
- Act as a technical writer and support during Relocation/ Closure, Assessment, and other Environmental Request for Proposals.
- Support Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Assessment projects.
- Support the invoicing process through invoice approvals.
Operations
- Provide field support for various environmental projects including laboratory and facility decommissioning projects, indoor air assessments, industrial hygiene sampling, and emergency response.
- Guide our decommissioning projects in alignment with the ANSI/ASSE Z9.11-2016 “Laboratory Decommissioning
- Support contamination assessment and prescription of decontamination methods
- Audit the decontamination activities to ensure they adhere to the prescribed methods
- Evaluate the efficacy of the decontamination activities through observations and sampling
- Preparing technical reports and certifications summarizing each project
- Track and communicate POs and schedules both internally and externally.
- Managing existing projects to ensure they stay on budget, on time, and are executed safely, and compliantly.
- Assist/manage internal department meetings.
- Professional interaction with clients, vendors, and regulators.
- Operating specialized equipment for indoor air assessment, groundwater sampling, and assessments.
- Available to travel periodically, focused on New England and New York. Travel outside of these areas may be required.
- Flexible with working hours, including possible off-hours and weekends.
- Assist internal Technical Services Representative and Service Managers as requested.
- Candidates will be involved with supporting a rotating emergency response team.
- This is a Safety Sensitive Position.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 3-5 years of field experience preferred.
- Experience with industrial hygiene monitoring.
- Knowledge of federal regulations including EPA, OSHA, and various state regulations (Department of Environmental Protection and Massachusetts Contingency Plan).
- Experience with laboratory settings, and/or building infrastructure helpful.
- OSHA 24- Hour training.
- Strong technical writing skills and proficiency.
- Strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated, independent thinker with the desire to learn.
- Able to manage multiple projects and priorities at a time.
- Working knowledge or Word, Excel, and Adobe.
- A strong commitment to excellence and high attention to detail.
- Follow all departmental and company policies and procedures.
- Work as a team player.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
- Must have a reliable form of transportation.
- Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC).
- Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.
- This position frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety-sensitive.
Preferred Requirements:
- Prior relevant industry experience.
- Active HAZWOPER 24- or 40-hour certification.
