Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a skilled Hazardous Waste Operations Supervisor to join our Greater Austin Area, Texas team.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, safety-minded supervisor experienced in bulk tanker loading and offloading operations, with strong organizational skills to manage scheduling, staff, and documentation in a fast-paced field environment. This position is located at a client in Taylor, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with prescribed safety procedures and regulations, including proper use and care of PPE.
- Must be able to wear a Respirator / SCBA.
- Schedule and coordinate bulk tanker shipments, loading windows, and onsite drivers with local office staff and customers.
- Directly supervise and manage field technicians performing tanker loading operations.
- Ensure tankers are loaded safely and efficiently in accordance with Triumvirate SOPs, material compatibility, and DOT/RCRA requirements.
- Verify tanker, hose, and gasket compatibility, and (if applicable) washout requirements prior to loading.
- Create and review accurate waste shipment manifests.
- Must be able to perform air monitoring and use gas meters
- Communicate shipment status, scheduling changes, and issues to local office staff and customers.
- Oversee job site safety, PPE compliance, and spill-response readiness for loading crews.
- Manage profitability and efficiency of loading assignments.
- Verify material and tanker compatibility before loading, and continuously monitor transfers, stopping work immediately if unsafe conditions occur.
- This role frequently involves handling hazardous chemicals and waste materials and is considered safety-sensitive.
Basic Requirements:
- Prior relevant experience in bulk or hazardous waste transfer, tanker operations, or a related field.
- Experience supervising technicians and coordinating schedules and logistics.
- Firm understanding of RCRA, DOT, and other regulations pertaining to hazardous waste and materials.
- Hazardous materials handling experience, including manifests and shipping documentation.
- Experience with tankers, pumps, hoses, and vacuum truck equipment.
- OSHA 40-hour training.
- Ability to work overtime and flexible hours as needed to support shipments, including night and weekend shifts.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
- Must have a reliable form of transportation.
- Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC), and to participate in a random drug screening program thereafter.
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.
Preferred Requirements:
- Active HAZWOPER 24- or 40-hour certification.
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Experience with confined space entry procedures.
