Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Contracts Administrator for our Legal team.  

This highly motivated, strong self starter, with a high attention to detail individual will be responsible for working directly with the internal bid team to review Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQs), applying contract review and knowledge of the job bid process, surety and bond requirements, and working with multiple departments within the company to identify and mitigate risk before submission. This role reports to the Senior Managing Counsel and supports the company's government contracting and environmental services bid pipeline.

This position reports to Senior Managing Counsel. This position will be fully onsite for the first 90 days. After 90 days, the position will follow a hybrid schedule approved by the manager and Human Resources. 

Responsibilities: 

The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Review RFPs and RFQs in partnership with the internal bid team, from initial solicitation through final submission
  • Perform contract review on proposed terms and conditions, identifying non-standard, ambiguous, or high-risk provisions, working directly with senior counsel to ensure proper bid submissions
  • Apply working knowledge of the job bid process and surety requirements to evaluate whether solicitation terms are workable for the company
  • Identify and flag compliance risks related to government contracting and environmental services regulations, escalating issues to the Senior Managing Counsel as needed
  • Help legal department manage its responsibilities related to government contracts
  • Track and manage bid-related contract documents, deadlines, and status internally
  • Help legal team with Surety and Bonding requirements
  • Communicate contract risk and terms clearly to non-legal stakeholders on the bid team
  • Partner with the bid team to resolve open contract questions ahead of submission deadlines
  • Maintain organized records of bid submissions, contract terms, and related correspondence
  • Perform other legal administrative duties as assigned 

Basic Requirements: 

  • Juris Doctor (JD) not required
  • Prior experience reviewing bids or contracts for a service-based company
  • Experience with government contracting
  • Experience with environmental services
  • Proficiency with Oracle and CLMs
  • Strong self-starter, able to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple concurrent bid deadlines
  • High attention to detail in reviewing complex contractual language
  • Clear written and verbal communication with both legal and non-legal stakeholders
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship 
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation 

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Paralegal certificate (or equivalent)

Actual starting base pay may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, location and budget.

Pay Range

$75,000 - $85,000 USD
