Senior Software Engineer - Growth Team Lead
About Trivelta
Trivelta is the worldʼs premier, modular iGaming platform complete with native and web apps, robust sportsbook and casino infrastructure, a comprehensive back office tool, and an encompassing suite of social features. We power an international suite of iGaming operations today and are rapidly expanding through the international market.
About the role
We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own the design and delivery of systems within our propriety growth engine. Our growth engineer is responsible for platform-wide attribution and retention via dynamic bonusing, smart attribution, and a complete suite of affiliate tooling.
Senior is where scope stops being a single feature. You will be trusted with the projects where the right answer is genuinely unclear, and you will make the team around you better while you deliver them.
What you'll do
Own the design and delivery of systems within the Growth domain, from architecture through production operation.
Decompose large, ambiguous projects into workstreams the team can run in parallel — and find the genuinely hard part early rather than discovering it in month three.
Write design docs and architecture decision records that outlive the project and anticipate the next few years of change.
Set the bar for the codebase: refactor toward clarity as a habit, and introduce abstractions that others adopt because they help.
Design the testing strategy for your systems and improve CI reliability, so the team can ship confidently.
Lead incident investigation, and produce blameless postmortems whose action items measurably reduce recurrence.
Mentor engineers deliberately, and use code review as a coaching surface rather than only a defect filter.
Act as a genuine peer to Product and Design — propose cheaper solutions to the real user problem, and push back on scope with data.
Translate technical risk into business consequences for stakeholders, and deliver bad news early with options attached.
What we're looking for
5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
You have owned a non-trivial system in production — designed it, shipped it, operated it, and lived with the consequences.
Strong design judgment: you can tell which abstractions earn their complexity and which are speculative.
Demonstrated mentorship. People you have worked with got better.
You can hold a technical position under pressure, and change it when the evidence changes.
Bonus points
Depth in ad-tech, player-journey-mapping, or an adjacent domain.
Experience with high volume system architectures.
Experience leading a migration or a deprecation that other people had to execute.
