Deployment Strategist, APAC

South Korea

Build to Protect Civilization

TRM is a blockchain intelligence company that’s on a mission to build a safer financial system for billions of people. We’re a lean, high-impact team tackling some of the world’s most critical challenges, ranging from human trafficking and financial fraud to terrorist financing. We are builders who power governments, financial institutions, and crypto companies when the clock is running and the consequences are real. This is why every TRMer is a bet on our future and has the power to change our trajectory.

About the Position

At TRM Labs, our Deployment Strategy team is on the front lines of customer experience – bridging product expertise with exceptional customer support. The team ensures our customers receive timely, accurate, and high-quality assistance at every step. You will work daily with leading financial institutions, crypto exchanges, and state and federal law enforcement agencies — providing value through expert guidance, responsive support, and trusted partnership.

As a Deployment Strategist (APAC), you will play a critical role in helping TRM customers realise the full value of our platform. You will partner with law enforcement, regulators, and crypto businesses to trace illicit funds, operationalise scalable compliance programs, and disrupt financial crime across the crypto ecosystem. You will manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, driving adoption of TRM’s tools, and ensuring customers achieve measurable, long-term impact.

The impact you will have:

  • Act as a trusted advisor, enabling law enforcement, regulators, and crypto businesses to maximise the effectiveness of our platform within their investigative, supervisory, risk, and compliance functions.
  • Confidently explain complex technical and investigative concepts, supporting customer teams in interpreting blockchain data, building cases, and conducting financial crime investigations.
  • Build and deliver product demonstrations tailored to investigators, analysts, compliance officers, supervisors, and risk teams across the public and private sectors, showing how TRM can be used in real scenarios to uncover networks, follow the money, and disrupt financial crime.
  • Conduct structured training sessions to ensure TRM is embedded into customers’ day-to-day investigative and compliance programs.
  • Serve as the “Voice of the Customer” by channeling customer feedback to product and engineering teams to influence product direction.
  • Monitor customer engagement and usage trends, identifying risks and opportunities to drive measurable outcomes.
  • Proactively identify early signals of churn risk and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Establish a consistent engagement cadence with customer stakeholders to understand institutional priorities, regulatory obligations, and emerging risks, proactively addressing challenges before they escalate.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of professional experience, ideally within law enforcement, government, crypto businesses, or financial institutions — preferably in compliance, investigative, or customer-facing functions.
  • Fluent Korean speaker with high proficiency in English.
  • Hands-on experience with virtual currencies and blockchain analytics, ideally within a compliance or investigative context; strong appetite to deepen expertise in these areas is essential.
  • Proven ability to structure complex problems, prioritize critical issues, and deliver actionable solutions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and rigor, particularly in regulatory and investigative contexts.
  • Ability to distill and communicate complex technical and investigative concepts to diverse stakeholders, from compliance officers to senior executives.
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, dynamic environments where regulatory expectations and priorities evolve quickly.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence outcomes in cross-functional settings
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for in-person meetings, trainings, or events.

About the Team

  • As a globally distributed team, we work across time zones to provide seamless support and collaboration for our customers.
  • The APAC Deployment Strategy team plays a key role in this model, ensuring continuous customer engagement and partnership as part of TRM’s global coverage. Team members operate flexibly to collaborate effectively across regions and deliver impact where and when it’s needed most.
  • Our Customer Success Team is fully remote, thriving on asynchronous communication and collaboration through Slack channels and detailed documentation. We hold weekly Customer Syncs, bi-weekly health syncs, join our associated POD calls, and regularly engage with our customers.
  • As experts in our craft, we focus on providing support, driving value, and building meaningful relationships with our customers as trusted advisors. We are on the front lines of TRM, ensuring our customers get the most out of the product and bringing valuable insights back to the team.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
