About the Position

Our ability to identify, hire, and retain exceptional talent is foundational to our mission. The Talent team at TRM is composed of deeply experienced professionals who have built elite Engineering, Data Science, GTM, and People teams at some of the most ambitious startups in Silicon Valley.

We’re now looking for a Recruiter focused on our People team, spanning Human Resources, People Operations, and Talent Acquisition. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in scaling the foundational functions that power our growth, helping us hire the builders, operators, and strategic partners who will shape TRM’s culture and employee experience in our next stage of growth.

This is a high-ownership role embedded within the Talent function, with a direct impact on TRM’s ability to scale.

  • Technical Recruiters that are excited to make a pivot!
  • Experienced G&A Recruiters with a track record of building high-performing recruiting and people teams (especially in fast-paced startups or VC-backed environments)

The impact you’ll have here:

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for Talent team roles — including recruiters, sourcers, and recruiting coordinators
  • Partner directly with Talent and People leaders to define role needs, align on success signals, and drive hiring outcomes
  • Source exceptional recruiting talent, with a focus on high-caliber profiles who thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments
  • Deliver a high-touch candidate experience, with memorable moments.
  • Help shape how we hire build a world-class people org. 

What we’re looking for:

  • 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in fast-paced, high-growth tech companies
  • Demonstrated success hiring recruiters, sourcers, and talent operators
  • Bonus: experience hiring for People/HR functions (e.g. HRBP, Total Rewards, People Ops)
  • Deep sourcing expertise — you know how to engage passive talent and build strong, diverse pipelines
  • Metrics-oriented: you use funnel data to refine search strategies, calibrate quickly, and improve speed/quality
  • High-trust partner to hiring managers: you drive alignment, communicate proactively, and challenge constructively
  • Operate with urgency, ownership, and persistence — you care deeply about quality, and you follow through

About the Team:

  • Our talent team is fully remote, embracing async communication and collaboration through Slack channels, thorough documentation, and proactive updates to keep work moving forward smoothly across time zones.
  • We’re committed to structured alignment, holding weekly hiring syncs for each role, weekly team sourcing syncs, and bi-weekly team meetings to ensure everyone is on the same page and to solve challenges collectively.
  • Driven by a dedication to our craft, we continuously refine our best practices and data quality to deliver an exceptional experience for both internal stakeholders and candidates, supported by precise, reliable reporting.
  • As a globally distributed team, we operate across various time zones, yet most of us overlap for collaboration and meetings between 7am-12pm PST, bringing flexibility and resilience to our work routines.
  • All team members, regardless of location, maintain at least a 4-hour overlap with PST business hours to enable real-time collaboration and drive solutions effectively across the team.

Learn about TRM Speed in this position:

  • Within 72 hours of receiving a position, you schedule the intake meeting, open the position in the ATS, post the description, design the interview process, configure the interview plan. 
  • Within week of opening a position, you have conducted 5-10 Recruiter Screens and have conducted the first sync with the Hiring Team for calibration.
  • Two weeks after the initial interviews, you analyze the data to identify what is and isn’t driving pass rates and conversions. You share your insights and recommendations with the hiring team to refine and optimize the search, and you continue to monitor and adjust the approach until the position is filled.
