Senior PLM Administrator, Configuration Management
YOUR MISSION
True Anomaly is looking for you, a strategic operational leader responsible for advanced PLM administration, system optimization, and technical ownership. Drives PLM strategy, implements complex integrations, and leads major system initiatives. Serves as primary liaison between PLM operations and engineering leadership. Senior individual contributor role focused on technical leadership and strategic impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop PLM operational roadmap aligned with engineering and business objectives;
partner with leadership to identify optimization opportunities - Lead vendor relationships including license negotiations; define PLM system KPIs and deliver
executive-level reporting - Architect license optimization strategies to balance cost and productivity; drive adoption
initiatives - Design and implement complex Teamcenter configurations including BMIDE customizations
and integrations with ERP, ECAD, and MES systems - Develop automation solutions and custom tooling; architect data migration strategies for
system upgrades - Configure advanced workflows, business rules, and validation logic; troubleshoot multi-
system integration issues - Own PLM upgrade planning, testing, and execution; drive technical architecture decisions
- Develop disaster recovery procedures, technical documentation, and architecture diagrams
- Evaluate emerging PLM technologies; provide escalation support and mentor junior team
members
QUALIFICATIONS
- 7-10 years progressive PLM administration with technical leadership; 5+ years
hands-on Teamcenter in aerospace/defense/manufacturing - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent practical
experience with technical certifications - Expert Teamcenter administration (BMIDE, deployment, customization); advanced license
management (FlexLM, RLM) - Strong SQL; system integrations experience (REST APIs, SOA, middleware); scripting
(PowerShell, Python, Bash) - Windows Server and Linux administration; expert xCAD/PLM integration architectures
- Active Workspace configuration; hands-on NX (required) plus SolidWorks or Creo familiarity
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Siemens Teamcenter certification; ERP/MES integrations (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle); ECAD
integration (Altium); ITIL certification; Jira/Confluence experience; simulation tool integrations;
cloud infrastructure knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure)
COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: $125,000 - $195,000
- Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.
