YOUR MISSION

This role will serve as the Information Assurance Manager for a designated subset of True Anomaly’s information systems and will lead a layered cybersecurity team supporting multiple security environments. In this management position, you will oversee cybersecurity policies, compliance, operations, security awareness, and related security functions. You will advise leadership on risk levels, security posture, and the potential impact of emerging technologies and system upgrades. You will also coordinate and communicate relevant cyber event information to appropriate internal and external stakeholders.

Additionally, you will ensure that cybersecurity priorities remain aligned with True Anomaly’s business objectives and compliance obligations. You will monitor and assess the effectiveness of information assurance safeguards across the enterprise or designated enclaves, confirming that they deliver the intended level of protection. The role reports to the Director of Government Security and will be onsite in our Centennial, CO office.    

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the Information Assurance Manager for a designated subset of True Anomaly’s information systems, with formal appointment by Cybersecurity leadership to the Cognizant Security Agency (CSA).
  • Act as the primary cybersecurity point of contact for partner departments, customers, and stakeholders at the site level.
  • Participate in cross-functional and interdepartmental initiatives, providing guidance on cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Lead and manage, providing direction, oversight, and support for cybersecurity operations.
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members while providing regular performance feedback and coaching.
  • Collaborate with internal and external security professionals, customers, company leadership, and U.S. Government representatives.
  • Develop and deliver cybersecurity training, briefings, and presentations to audiences across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Cybersecurity leadership team.



QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • An IAM Level certification, such as Security+ or an equivalent credential.
  • Demonstrated experience leading direct reports and/or managing, mentoring, and developing cybersecurity teams.
  • Relevant experience may include a combination of the following:
  • Cybersecurity, information security, systems security, or system hardening.
  • Information technology and enterprise technology operations.
  • Network security and/or systems security, including architecture, topology, protocols, components, and security principles.
  • Operating system configuration, administration, and/or security auditing.
  • Compliance-based auditing and assessment using frameworks, standards, and tools such as the Risk Management Framework (RMF), DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), SNAC guides, Nessus, SCAP, ICD-503, ACAS, or comparable non-defense standards and regulations, including FAA, Payment Card Industry (PCI), ISO 9001, or HIPAA requirements.
  • Physical security, security operations, law enforcement, criminal justice, investigations, or border security.
  • Project management, program management, or account management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, customers, and government representatives in support of True Anomaly’s security and compliance objectives.
  • Ability to obtain DoD TS/SCI clearance.

    PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Current active DoD TS/SCI clearance.  

COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary:  Denver, $115,000 - $170,000
  • Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave
