YOUR MISSION

Seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst to lead enterprise risk across several domains and teams at True Anomaly, such as cyber risk, compliance risk, program risk, and supply chain risk. The Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst is responsible for deciding how the company assesses risk, including when to stand up a new risk program, and for describing risk accurately against the company’s main objectives, so that management can make informed decisions about which risks to reduce, transfer, avoid, or accept. This role requires expert judgment in enterprise risk methods, the ability to turn a business objective into working risk programs with little direction, and the ability to influence leaders across the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess risks across domains and teams using shared exposure and impact scales and the criticality of what they affect, and frame a risk that appears in several places once for the enterprise
  • Decide whether a business objective calls for an assessment or a new risk program, create the programs that are needed, and stay accountable for a current, complete risk register across several domains
  • Write decision documents that lead with the bottom line and a recommendation, get repeat decisions replaced by standing rules, and propose appetite thresholds and who can accept what at each risk band, for management to set
  • Test the scoring model against past risks and propose changes for ERM leadership to adopt, and turn the ERM Doctrine into methods other analysts use across domains
  • Brief executives, shape how teams across the company talk about a risk, and draw out dissent before a decision closes
  • Design how risks are taken in, routed, and recorded, write the standards other analysts follow, automate monitoring, and coach senior analysts

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, cybersecurity, risk management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7 to 10 years of risk experience working in defense, aerospace, technology, or another regulated industry, including building a risk program or method that others adopted
  • Expert knowledge of enterprise risk methods and scoring calibration, and of how risk feeds company planning and program governance
  • Experience rating risk against a defined method and explaining results and uncertainty to non specialist leaders
  • Ability to start from a business objective, decide the right response, and build it with little direction
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including bottom line first writing for executives
  • Working knowledge of U.S. Government contracting and its obligations, such as DFARS, ITAR and EAR, CUI handling, and NIST SP 800-171
  • S. Citizen eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Active DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance and SAP eligibility
  • Experience supporting space or missile defense programs (e.g., MDA, SDA, Space Systems Command, Golden Dome)
  • Risk experience in aerospace or defense, including program, supply chain, or third party risk
  • Experience applying quantitative methods such as FAIR where a decision needs them
  • Familiarity with ISO 31000, COSO ERM, AS9100D, NIST SP 800-53, or CMMC
  • Experience with a risk register or GRC platform, and data analysis in Python or SQL
