We at the User Growth team, have the mission to grow the user base, increase engagement and boost revenues. We try to achieve this with a focus on product-led growth.

As an ASO Specialist, you will own ASO strategy to boost organic app growth—managing keywords, metadata, A/B testing, localization, and reporting—while working cross-functionally to align with growth goals.

The impact you will create: 

  • Develop, manage and execute best-in-class ASO strategies for Truecaller across the App Store and Google Play Store
  • Create, maintain and optimize all store listing elements—titles, descriptions, icons, screenshots and keywords—in multiple languages, ensuring alignment with Truecaller’s brand and core features.
  • Plan, run and analyze A/B tests on store pages to improve download conversion rates and drive higher store traffic
  • Work closely with UA on identifying, planning, executing, and measuring opportunities to stimulate organic growth.
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis in our key markets.
  • Create reporting dashboards for key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Stay up to date with the latest ASO and digital marketing trends and best practices.

What you bring in

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven knowledge of mobile platforms and technologies.
  • In-depth understanding of the different App stores and their processes.
  • Proven track record using ASO tools (e.g. AppTweak, MobileAction) and translating data into actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure uplift in installs, optimize conversion funnels, and report results clearly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication—able to collaborate with product, UA, design, and marketing stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and self-driven: you set priorities, manage projects end-to-end, and deliver on deadlines without hand-holding.
  • Creative problem-solver who gathers feedback, generates fresh ideas, and turns them into structured plans of action.
  • Passion for mobile technology and a keen eye for emerging trends in app discovery and user engagement.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Familiarity with user acquisition and paid campaign management
  • Understanding of lifecycle marketing tactics
  • Background collaborating with creative teams
