As a Principal Product Manager for Number Intelligence, you will be responsible for defining the product strategy and roadmap that leverages Truecaller's unique network intelligence and machine learning capabilities to deliver essential risk management and growth solutions to businesses globally. What you bring in:
- Product Expertise: Proven experience managing data or intelligence products, preferably focused on B2B risk, fraud prevention, or digital identity solutions.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of use cases and challenges related to phone number insights, particularly in high-risk areas like fraudulent onboarding, mule account detection, credit underwriting, and collections.
- Technical Acumen: Strong familiarity with how aggregated data (like Digital Traits, Stability, and Activeness) is leveraged by machine learning models.
- Regulatory Focus: Ability to address the urgent need for phone number-based insights highlighted by regulatory bodies, including requirements for tracking risky numbers and encouraging data hygiene.
- Result-Oriented: Experience in delivering quantifiable improvements for customers, such as increasing coverage for non-bureau users or achieving uplift in risk model accuracy.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, Data Science, Sales) to deliver complex data products that are built for versatility and achieve market fit.
The impact you will create:
- Product Strategy & Vision for Risk & Growth:
- Define the product vision and strategic priorities for using phone number-based insights to identify, predict, and mitigate risk.
- Develop strategies to accelerate growth across key customer journey steps, including Onboarding, Personalization, Acquisition, User profile enhancement, and Optimizing contactability effort.
- Ensure the product is versatile enough to support a wide range of use cases, focusing specifically on solving challenges in Fraudulent onboarding, Credit & Underwriting, Collections, Mule accounts, and Return to origin (RTO) in sectors such as BFSI, Fintech, e-commerce, Gaming, Social, Fashion, and Logistics.
- Translate business needs into requirements for data scientists and engineers to enhance signals,
- Customer Integration & Adoption:
- Ensure seamless integration capabilities, allowing customers to effortlessly integrate insights into their existing models for continuous monitoring.
- Work closely with sales and customer success teams to highlight the value proposition, such as improving acquisition quality by detecting fraudsters, or enhancing existing risk models to unlock new-to-credit (NTC) users.
- Compliance and Data Privacy Leadership:
- Serve as the champion for regulatory compliance, ensuring the product adheres to a privacy-first approach and robust data anonymization practices.
- Ensure the product utilizes signals and insights gathered from community feedback, spam reports, and anonymized call patterns within the Truecaller network.
- Maintain and uphold standards required for certifications such as ISO/IEC 27001:2022, ISO 22301:2019, ISO 9001:2015, and VAPT.
