Overview:

The Senior Media Insights Analyst manages a portfolio of complex client accounts within the Media Intelligence & Operations department, delivering high-quality reporting, QBRs, and strategic analysis that connect media performance to business outcomes. Building on the foundational responsibilities of the Analyst role, the Senior Analyst takes ownership of more sophisticated measurement challenges, applies advanced analytical methods, and serves as a mentor and knowledge resource for junior Media Intelligence team members. This role is a subject matter expert in media analytics and BI platform use within the agency, contributing directly to the evolution of the agency's reporting capabilities and analytical standards. This position has no direct reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Own the end-to-end design and delivery of monthly reports, QBRs, and ad-hoc analyses for a portfolio of complex client accounts; ensure all outputs go beyond data reporting to deliver strategic narrative, contextualized interpretation, and clear recommendations aligned with client business goals.
  • Leverage AI-powered coding agents and analytical programming languages such as Python or R to analyze large, complex datasets, uncover deeper performance insights, and generate visualizations that communicate findings clearly. Apply these tools to streamline analytical workflows, investigate trends, and support data-driven media measurement and optimization decisions.
  • Apply advanced analytical methods — including incrementality frameworks, difference-in-differences analysis, and multi-channel attribution approaches — to evaluate campaign effectiveness and provide sophisticated performance explanations to internal teams and clients.
  • Proactively monitor performance across assigned accounts to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities; develop and test hypotheses for performance shifts in collaboration with the Data Governance team; deliver findings with a level of strategic depth that drives planning and investment decisions.
  • Design and maintain advanced strategic visualizations in BI platforms (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker Studio, DOMO) that support insight-first delivery across complex, multi-channel client portfolios; leverage RADaR-powered environments and agency data frameworks to ensure analytical integrity.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on measurement strategy for assigned accounts; participate in measurement planning discussions with Integrated Strategy & Planning, Campaign Operations, and client teams; contribute to the development of clients’ overall measurement frameworks.
  • Mentor and support Media Intelligence Associates and Analysts in the development of analytical skills, BI platform proficiency, and client communication; assist with onboarding of new Media Intelligence team members and contribute to internal training initiatives.
  • Identify systemic opportunities to improve the agency’s internal measurement rigor and dashboard usability; contribute recommendations to department leadership on process, platform, and framework improvements.
  • Maintain accurate time records in the finance/media platform; adhere to agency processes, data governance protocols, and privacy standards; attend internal training, online conferences, and seminars as directed.
