Job Summary:

True Spec Golf is seeking a candidate to join our team as a Golf Club QC & Shipping Tech. The ideal candidate will be detailed and motivated. This position plays a key role in ensuring every custom club is built to spec and delivered with care. You’ll be responsible for inspecting finished clubs, verifying order accuracy, packaging products securely, and prepping shipments for delivery. Background in golf is beneficial. This is a full-time position with benefits, with a pay range of $18-$19 per hour based on experience.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Quality Control

• Inspect completed clubs to ensure build specs (shaft, grip, loft/lie, swing weight, ferrules, etc.) match order details
• Check for cosmetic defects or inconsistencies in assembly (alignment, finish quality, etc.)
• Verify proper labeling and documentation for each order
• Work with builders/finishers to resolve any discrepancies or rework needs

Shipping & Packing

• Package custom clubs securely for safe transport
• Print and apply shipping labels (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.)
• Organize and manage outgoing shipments to meet daily deadlines
• Maintain clean and organized shipping area
• Track shipments and handle basic customer service inquiries related to delivery status

Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in quality control, shipping, or fulfillment (preferred but not required)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in doing things right the first time
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team
• Basic computer skills (printing labels, entering tracking info)
• Comfort with physical tasks — standing, lifting boxes, moving product
• Familiarity with golf clubs, fitting specs, or general golf knowledge (a plus)
