Operations Specialist (Part -Time, Remote)
Truework is on a mission to create trust in every financial transaction. Our core product, Truework Income, provides access to crucial employment and income information needed for mortgage loans, apartment rentals, background checks and the like. We are disrupting a $5B+ industry, previously controlled by legacy credit agencies, with a better product and intense customer focus. We handle hundreds of thousands of income and employment verifications every month, and continue to grow our market share in the mortgage lending and tenant screening markets.
Location: Remote (United States residents only)
Schedule: 25-30 hours/week, 5 days per week (including at least one weekend day)
Start Time: 7:00 AM PST
About the Role
At Truework, we’re on a mission to revolutionize employment and income verifications, providing a seamless experience for our customers and users. Our Operations Team plays a critical role in delivering best-in-class service, sitting at the intersection of customer support and our back-end platform. Each month, our product serves hundreds of thousands of unique users, and we’re looking for detail-oriented problem solvers to help us maintain excellence.
As a Part-Time Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing verification requests, ensuring accuracy, conducting research, and resolving issues efficiently. You’ll navigate multiple systems, validate information, and either complete requests or escalate them as needed. Key Responsibilities:
- Review verification requests, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
- Investigate and validate data across multiple platforms.
- Solve problems creatively to complete verifications within set timeframes.
- Escalate ambiguous or complex issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Manage and prioritize incoming verification inquiries throughout the day.
- Identify and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and streamline processes.
- Recognize potential fraudulent or suspicious activity.
- Transcribe completed verifications from HR respondents or third-party providers accurately and efficiently.

- Reliable & disciplined: Proven ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work consistently.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with customer support, operations, or verification processes.
Compensation & Training:
- Pay: $17–$19 per hour (based on experience).
- Training: 2-3 weeks, Monday–Friday schedule (up to 30 hours per week), before transitioning to a regular shift with weekend availability.
