Solutions Architect
About us
Truffle Security is a cybersecurity company on a mission to make secrets easier to detect, verify, and remediate across modern software environments. Built on the popular open-source TruffleHog™ secrets scanning platform, the company's enterprise solution gives security and engineering teams everything they need to find exposed credentials, understand which ones are active, and act on them with confidence.
With support for 800+ credential types, Truffle Security continuously monitors non-human identities (NHIs) and their associated secrets across code repositories, SaaS applications, wikis, and cloud systems. It goes beyond detection by verifying which secrets are live, analyzing their scope of access, and streamlining remediation through automated workflows and lifecycle management so teams can prioritize what to revoke and confirm it's done without manual follow-up.
Trusted by organizations including NVIDIA, Chick-fil-A, and OpenAI, Truffle Security helps security and engineering teams stay ahead of secrets risk.
About the role
We're looking for a Post-Sales Solutions Architect to join our team. You'll own the technical customer relationship from signature through renewal and beyond, guiding customers through onboarding, driving adoption of TruffleHog across their organizations, and identifying opportunities to expand their footprint within Truffle Security products. This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and customer strategy: you need to be comfortable in a terminal and equally comfortable building a renewal narrative for a VP of Security. Your north star is ensuring customers realize measurable value from TruffleHog and become long-term partners.
What you'll be working on
- Own the post-sale technical relationship, serving as the customer's primary technical advisor from day one
- Lead onboarding engagements, guiding new customers through deployment, configuration, and production rollout of TruffleHog
- Drive adoption by developing rollout strategies, building internal champions within customer organizations, and helping teams integrate TruffleHog into their existing security workflows
- Conduct regular health checks, architecture reviews, and check-ins to ensure customers are realizing full value
- Identify and surface expansion opportunities by understanding evolving customer needs and positioning relevant add-on products
- Own the technical narrative for renewals, build ROI stories grounded in measurable outcomes and usage data
- Troubleshoot technical issues by reviewing configurations, logs, and customer environments
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to advocate for customer needs and feed back product insights
- Contribute to customer-facing documentation, knowledge base content, and best practices guides
- Build scalable processes and self-serve resources that reduce time-to-value for customers
What we're looking for
- BA/BS degree in CS or equivalent
- Experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or similar
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python
- Comfort working in command line interfaces
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical customer issues
- 4+ years of working experience in a SaaS environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical depth for varied audiences, from engineers to executives
Bonus Points
- Experience working with or supporting Application Security teams
- Familiarity with secret scanning, SAST, DAST, or other AppSec tooling
- Understanding of basic networking concepts like TLS/SSL, proxies, and firewalls
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot
- Experience driving renewals or partnering with a CSM team
- Understanding of SaaS commercial models and upsell motions
- Passionate about cybersecurity
