What you will do:

The Senior Director of Grocery and Small Format leads a high-performing sales team, crafts comprehensive channel strategies, and ensures seamless execution across multiple channels (Grocery, C-store, Drug, Foodservice & Specialty).

You will play a key role in molding the company's long-term strategic plans and will allocate resources across assigned channels (inclusive of Omni Channel). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and will manage brokers to achieve shared objectives.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in the Sales function, including direct management of a team (4+ years of leading teams), exceptional grocery experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, collaboration, analytical, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to know when to empower others and when to take a hands-on approach.
  • History of leading sustained growth within previous roles.
  • Experience managing a customer P&L and possess financial acumen.
  • Proven ability to grow revenue and market share.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing sales strategy at a channel level.

Pluses:

  • Master’s degree in business administration
  • Experience across assigned channels (Grocery, C-store, Drug, Foodservice & Specialty).
  • Currently reside in (or willing to relocate to) Salt Lake City

 

 

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range.  Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
