Job Summary
Under the supervision of the ERP Supervisor, the Business Systems Analyst, D365 will serve as a functional subject matter expert across all D365 F&O modules including Finance, Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain Management, and Master Planning. This is an internal, hands-on position within the IT organization, acting as the bridge between business operations and the D365 F&O platform. The analyst works directly with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, design functional solutions, and drive the configuration and implementation of D365 F&O capabilities.

- Partner with stakeholders across finance, sales, supply chain, procurement, and operations to elicit, document, and translate business requirements into D365 F&O functional solutions.
- Partner with IT and business leadership to align D365 roadmap priorities with evolving operational needs.
- Lead fit-gap analysis sessions across all functional areas to identify process gaps and design scalable, practical D365 configurations that meet business needs.
- Own the full solution design lifecycle — from initial requirements gathering through functional specification, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Evaluate existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop D365-based solutions that drive measurable improvement.
- Develop and maintain functional design documents, business requirement documents (BRDs), and configuration specifications across all modules.
- Configure, implement, and support D365 F&O modules across the full functional spectrum, with primary focus in Supply Chain Management and Master Planning.
- Stay current on Microsoft D365 F&O release waves, new features, and best practices — evaluating applicability and making recommendations to the ERP Supervisor.
- Manage and prioritize a backlog of system enhancements, bug fixes, and configuration requests in collaboration with the ERP Supervisor.
- Identify and resolve functional configuration issues across all D365 F&O modules, escalating technical issues to development resources when needed.
Position Requirements
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification in one or more functional modules (Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related) is preferred.
Technical Experience
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience configuring and implementing D365 F&O Supply Chain Management, Master Planning, Finance, and Sales and Marketing modules.
- Demonstrated experience working across multiple D365 F&O functional areas including Supply Chain Management, Master Planning, Finance, and Sales and Marketing.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including production control, MRP planning, BOMs, routing, and shop floor control.
- Working knowledge of Planning Optimization, MRP, and demand forecasting configurations within D365 F&O.
- Understanding of Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps) and F&O integration.
- Knowledge of best practices in D365 F&O development and system configuration
- Understanding of workflow design and approval hierarchies in D365 F&O
- Deep understanding of ERP architecture and data flow across modules
- Ability to troubleshoot system issues and identify root causes
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to facilitate meetings with executives, managers, and end-users
- Collaborative team player who takes ownership of deliverables and drives work to completion.

Pay/Salary Information
Pay scale for this position - $107,931.20 - $120,000.00 annually
