Product Management Intern

As a Product Management Intern, you'd be able to work on and solve many interesting challenges which we are facing, learn new ways of working, and help build delightful high-quality products for our customers. 

Job Summary:

This is a great opportunity for a passionate and driven Product Management Intern to learn and experience first-hand, how to build products that gain product-market fit quickly and effectively.

Our Product team places a strong emphasis on mentorship and coaching- you will get to learn directly from an experienced Product team with people from tech companies and financial institutions.

The Product Management Intern will work directly with and in a specific Product team. Candidates can indicate a preferred team during application. The 2 product teams available are:

1) Digital Wealth

2) Credit Cards & Lending

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research and product discovery to understand pain points and deliver product memos that define the ‘why’ of each product, and its strategy
  • Design screen mockups, deliver PRDs that illustrate what problems we are solving and how, and present to developers and designers
  • Write clear and comprehensive user stories to ensure product quality
  • Conduct user acceptance tests during development
  • Monitor and analyse product performance via user feedback and recorded data
  • Identify new opportunities through segmentations using analytics
  • Managing of the product lifecycle to drive income growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and customer service, to ensure successful product development

Our Ideal Candidate: 

  • Able to commit for 3 months (full-time)
  • Pursing a Bachelors degree in related business or technical field, or equivalent (preferably Engineering or Data Analysis)
  • Familiar with PRD elements (e.g. wireframes, figma, TDD)
  • Strong documentation, presentation, analytical and communication skill
  • Demonstrated background of extra-curricular achievement or relevant internships
  • SQL, python, Tableau and Google Analytics/ Data Studio knowledge is a plus

Role Specific Technical Competencies 

  • Ability to build relationships with, and influence, cross-functional teams (e.g. Engineering, Customer Service, Marketing)
  • Self-starter- with a bias for action
  • Strong interest in Product Management as a career
