Who We Need 

Truveta is rapidly building a talented and diverse team to tackle complex health and technical challenges. We are seeking a Software Engineer with a strong interest in Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for early-career engineers who are eager to build scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native systems. You will work closely with senior engineers to design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure solutions, primarily on Microsoft Azure, while gaining hands-on experience with modern DevOps practices, automation, and observability tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain index, query, and search system features utilized to aggregate and analyze health data which involves: Design, Implement and Test New Index and Query Features.
  • Optimize end-to-end index performance.
  • Plan, architect and deploy highly scalable and highly reliable search systems.
  • Implement relevant compliance controls and perform security reviews.
  • Monitor new emerging technology in search field and evaluate/incorporate where applicable.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, including:
    • Writing production-quality, efficient, multi-threaded code that runs reliably at scale
    • Designing and implementing search system features (indexing, querying, etc.), including test frameworks and test cases
    • Reviewing data specifications and handling large-scale data storage and distribution using specialized protocols
    • Debugging and resolving production issues in complex data systems

  • The base pay for this position is $94,000 to $120,000. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target. Pay is based on several factors including location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional compensation such as incentive pay and stock options.
