Beyond core capabilities, we are seeking problem solvers, passionate and collaborative teammates, and those willing to roll up their sleeves while making a difference. If you are interested in the opportunity to pursue purposeful work, join a mission-driven team, and build a rewarding career while having fun, Truveta may be the perfect fit for you.
This Opportunity
We are seeking a Principal Clinical Informaticist – Clinical Intelligence to join the Catalysts team.
Catalysts enables customers to unlock the full value of Truveta's data, products, and intelligence offerings through practical solutions, reusable assets, and customer-facing enablement.
In this role, you will help define how Truveta Intelligence understands and reasons about healthcare data, evidence generation, and analytical workflows. You will transform healthcare expertise into reusable intelligence capabilities that enable both users and AI systems to make better decisions at scale.
The primary focus of this role is developing reasoning frameworks, decision guides, and intelligence capabilities that improve how Truveta Intelligence interprets healthcare data and supports analytical workflows. These capabilities serve as the foundation for both AI experiences and human-facing guidance.
The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in healthcare data, clinical terminology, healthcare methodology, and hands-on analytical problem solving. They are comfortable moving between data exploration, methodological reasoning, and knowledge creation to improve how AI systems and users work with healthcare data. They enjoy simplifying complex topics, creating scalable knowledge systems, and shaping the future of AI-assisted healthcare analytics.

- Define and justify approaches for identifying clinical events, conditions, procedures, medications, and outcomes using healthcare data.
- Apply clinical knowledge, healthcare terminology expertise, and practical EHR understanding to create robust and explainable approaches.
- Provide expertise on ICD, SNOMED, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC, RxNorm, and related healthcare standards.
- Help ensure intelligence capabilities reflect real-world healthcare data rather than idealized assumptions.
- Establish practical best practices for healthcare data interpretation and evidence generation.
Product and intelligence partnership
-
- Partner closely with Intelligence, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure healthcare expertise is effectively integrated into user experiences.
- Identify gaps where clinical and healthcare expertise can improve AI capabilities and user outcomes.
- Help prioritize future intelligence capabilities based on customer needs, observed limitations, and adoption signals.
- Influence roadmap decisions through healthcare expertise, analytical evidence, and practical experience.
- Measure the impact and usage of developed intelligence capabilities.
- Act as a bridge between healthcare methodology, healthcare data, and AI capabilities.
Required Qualifications
