Our India Development Center (IDC) plays a critical role in scaling our engineering, product, and business operations globally.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an HR Generalist who is passionate about creating exceptional employee experiences and helping build a high-performing organization.
The Opportunity
As an HR Generalist, you will support the day-to-day People operations for our growing India Development Center and help manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding. You will work closely with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth HR operations and a positive employee experience. As the IDC continues to scale, you will also provide support for Talent Acquisition activities, including sourcing, interview coordination, candidate engagement, and hiring operations.
This is an opportunity to gain broad exposure across HR operations, employee engagement, Talent Acquisition, and other People initiatives while helping build and scale our People function in India.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and managers.
- Manage employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, confirmations, promotions, internal transfers, documentation, and offboarding.
- Deliver a smooth and engaging onboarding experience for new hires.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR systems are updated in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with Payroll, Finance, IT, and other teams to ensure seamless HR operations.
- Support employee queries related to HR policies, processes, benefits, payroll, and other People matters.
- Support compliance with company policies, Indian labor laws, and statutory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve HR processes.
Talent Acquisition Support
- Support the Talent Acquisition function as hiring continues to scale in India.
- Assist with sourcing and identifying candidates for open positions.
- Coordinate interviews across candidates, hiring managers, and interview panels.
- Manage candidate communication, scheduling, and interview follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate candidate information and hiring status in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Support offer coordination, pre-joining engagement, and transition of candidates into onboarding.
- Help maintain hiring trackers, reports, and recruitment dashboards.
- Ensure candidates have a positive and well-coordinated experience throughout the hiring process.
Employee Engagement & People Initiatives
- Support employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and culture-building programs.
- Assist with employee communications and People-related events and initiatives.
- Support HR projects and organizational initiatives as the India Development Center continues to grow.
- Partner with the broader People team on programs that enhance the overall employee experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources is preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Operations role.
- Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Some exposure to Talent Acquisition, recruitment coordination, or candidate sourcing is preferred.
- Experience working with HR systems and/or Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and growing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-growing technology or product organization.
- Exposure to recruiting for technology or engineering roles.
- Exposure to employee engagement, performance management, and HR analytics.
- Working knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Experience with platforms such as Greenhouse, Workday, BambooHR, or similar HR/ATS systems.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently as the organization scales.
