About the Role

We’re looking for a Logistics Operations Specialist to lead our courier workforce on the ground. You’ll be responsible for hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training drivers — making sure they’re reliable, professional, and aligned with Picnic’s standards.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone who’s ambitious, scrappy, and ready to grow. You’ll be out in the field, solving real-world problems and laying the foundation for the city's courier operations. Strong performers in this role will have the opportunity to grow into a Logistics Operations Specialist position.

Responsibilities

• Source, interview, and hire reliable and professional couriers
  
  
• Lead onboarding and training to ensure drivers understand delivery routes, technology, and customer expectations
  
  
• Ensure drivers wear Picnic uniforms and represent the brand in a friendly, professional way
  
  
• Monitor daily delivery performance and help troubleshoot any courier-related issues
  
  
• Support logistics planning and route assignments to ensure efficiency and timeliness
  
  
• Build a positive, high-performing driver culture with clear communication and feedback
  
  
• Track performance metrics and support driver payments, scheduling, and availability
  
  

Requirements

• BA/BS degree required from a top university
  
  
• Bonus: 1–3 years of experience in operations, logistics, field management, or similar hands-on roles
  
  
• Proven track record of hustle, ownership, and working in fast-paced environments
  
  
• Comfortable spending most of your time in the field, with drivers and deliveries
  
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
