About the Role

We’re looking for a Operations Manager to own the last-mile experience in your city. You’ll be responsible for the success of our courier operations — ensuring orders are delivered on time, drivers are trained and reliable, and customers have a consistent, high-quality experience every day.

This role is equal parts strategy and execution. You’ll design logistics systems, lead hiring and training efforts, and ensure every delivery runs like clockwork.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the courier/logistics strategy in your city
  
  
• Hire, train, and manage a reliable team of couriers to handle daily deliveries
  
  
• Build and optimize delivery routes to ensure speed, accuracy, and efficiency
  
  
• Develop and manage courier payment models to balance cost and performance
  
  
• Ensure drivers are in Picnic uniform and represent the brand professionally
  
  
• Monitor on-time delivery performance and troubleshoot daily issues
  
  
• Collaborate with central ops, product, and customer support to continuously improve processes
  
  
• Track key metrics and report on courier performance, reliability, and satisfaction
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in top-tier management consulting or in operations at a fast-growing startup
  
  
• Strong preference for candidates with logistics, last-mile delivery, or fleet operations experience
  
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills — you love building systems and fixing inefficiencies
  
  
• Strong people management skills — you're comfortable hiring, training, and leading teams
  
  
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  
  
• Operationally scrappy — you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done
