Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Quality Engineering Architect to lead initiatives that transform testing across our complex enterprise systems, particularly for our legacy CIS environment (Genesis). This role will be critical in defining and implementing a comprehensive quality strategy that emphasizes risk-based, data-centric testing and streamlined change management. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive a culture that values testing as a core component of successful production deployments.
Job Responsibilities
- Create a comprehensive quality engineering strategy aligned with the client’s product roadmap and business objectives
- Emphasize risk-based testing to prioritize critical areas and optimize testing efforts
- Lead initiatives for data comparison and validation between systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity across complex integrations
- Work with SQL and data tools to validate data across upstream and downstream systems
- Collaborate with Business Testers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Agile teams to define the scope and methodology of testing
- Establish clear documentation and communication of testing processes, progress, and results
- Assess and develop good understanding of customer’s manual testing needs
- Maintain a hands-on involvement in test execution, test automation and risk coverage analysis
- Review functional and non-functional requirements and specifications
- Produce test Artifacts such as test Strategy, test Plan, test Cases and test Metrics reports
- Build and support automated testing frameworks based on various technologies
- Deliver good quality work internally and at a customer site, meeting project deadlines
- Maintain excellent relationships with key customer stakeholders and manage their expectations
- Additional duties as may be assigned by management
Role Requirements
- Capable of executing and completing assigned projects within the time, scope, and budget negotiated with the client
- Skilled at evaluating existing processes and procedures and making recommendations for improvement; designing prototypes and proof of concepts that best fit client needs
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills from both a business and systems perspective
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Capable of effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Able to facilitate open discussion and construct debate
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Engineering or related fields
- 2-5 years' experience
