- Work-life balance and a relaxed, collaborative work environment
- Growth and development opportunities, including a defined path to Account Director
Position summary
This role is for an ambitious salesperson who wants to grow into enterprise account ownership. You will spend most of your time opening new conversations with technology and QA leaders, and you will also own a small set of accounts and close your own deals. You will work alongside our Account Directors, join their client meetings and proposals, and learn how TTC scopes and sells quality engineering programs.
Expect roughly 60% of your time on outbound prospecting and 40% on running your own opportunities and accounts. As you build a track record, that balance shifts toward account ownership, leading to promotion to Account Director. The role reports to the Group Chief Revenue Officer.
Responsibilities
Outbound and pipeline generation
- Build and work a target account list across energy and utilities, financial services and insurance, and manufacturing and industrials, with a focus on Texas and the southern US.
- Run multi-channel outbound across email, phone and LinkedIn, researching each account for a genuine trigger event before first contact.
- Prioritize daily activity using ZoomInfo intent data, LinkedIn Sales Navigator alerts and HubSpot activity.
- Reactivate dormant accounts and past clients, and follow former champions to their new organizations.
- Qualify conversations on pain, timing, authority and fit, and brief the Account Director on any meeting you hand over.
Account ownership and closing
- Own a small portfolio of mid-market and smaller enterprise accounts assigned by the Group CRO.
- Run discovery, scope engagements with delivery leads, and write proposals and statements of work for opportunities up to roughly $250,000.
- Negotiate and close your own deals, and stay the main commercial contact once work starts.
- Support Account Directors on larger pursuits, including RFP responses, client presentations and account planning.
Market presence
- Represent TTC Global at regional events, user groups and partner sessions in Houston, Dallas and across Texas.
- Keep regular contact with Tricentis and other partner representatives and pass opportunity signals to the right owner.
- Log all activity, opportunities and next steps in HubSpot on the day they happen, and report weekly on activity, meetings and pipeline.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience in IT services, consulting, staffing or enterprise software.
- Proven outbound success: a record of booking meetings with senior technology buyers through cold outreach.
- Some experience owning and closing deals, or a clear readiness to step up from a BDR or SDR role into full-cycle sales.
- Strong written communication; many of your first impressions will be in writing.
- Curiosity about technical subject matter and the ability to hold a credible conversation on software testing and enterprise systems.
- Working knowledge of HubSpot, ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or the ability to learn them quickly.
- Exposure to SAP, Oracle or other enterprise platforms is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a national background check.
Competencies and skills
- Hunter mentality: proactive, persistent and energized by new opportunities.
- Consultative instinct: asks good questions and links business problems to TTC services.
- Organization: works a defined cadence across hundreds of accounts while managing live deals.
- Coachability: seeks feedback from Account Directors and acts on it.
- Commercial drive: wants a number and wants to own client relationships.
Ramp and expectations
- Months 1–2: market immersion, product and service training, shadowing Account Directors on live calls, and building your target account list.
- Months 3–6: full outbound cadence at eight or more held meetings per month, plus ownership of your first accounts and opportunities.
- Months 7–12: a personal new-business target of [$500,000] in signed services revenue alongside the meeting target.
Path to Account Director
Promotion to Account Director is typically considered after 12 to 24 months, based on:
- At least [$750,000] in signed services revenue over a rolling 12 months
- Two or more new logos won and grown under your ownership
- A self-sourced pipeline of [$1.5M] or more
- Account plans and client relationships that the Group CRO is ready to hand you as a named territory
Schedule
Monday to Friday, aligned to US business hours. Occasional travel within Texas and the US for client meetings and events.
