About this Role:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Content accounting team! In this role, you will be responsible and supporting a number of accounting processes. You will be supporting our licensed and self-produced content as well as payment operations. Working closely with the Content Accounting Manager, primary responsibilities will include content payment processing, preparation of account analyses and specialized reports, assisting and supporting the Content Team from an accounting perspective in support of the monthly close process and the preparation of company financial statements.As we grow our content footprint, you will adapt quickly and be comfortable working through policy and operational process setting.
What You’ll Do:
- Content Payment Support – Assist the content payment process through Coupa invoice & payment management. Partnering with the Content team to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Month-End Close Support – Perform monthly processes to support our Licensed & Owned content business including, title reconciliation, data processing and accounting reconciliations ensuring accurate and timely journal entry postings for month-end close. Work closely with the internal accounting and partner teams to support a smooth and efficient close process.
- Off-platform Content Support – Track, maintain, and report key accounting information coming from off-platform exploitation, including the recording of proceeds due to Tubi and the operational reporting of results to inform talent obligations.
- Audit Support – Assist with internal and external audits by gathering and providing necessary documentation related to Content Accounting. Ensure compliance with financial policies and support audit requests for reconciliations, approvals, and financial records.
- Process Optimization – Identify inefficiencies, process gaps, and enhance reporting for both Original content and Off-platform activity
- Reporting & Analytics - Analyze content spending, participation statements, and general content activity trends to verify accuracy, identify opportunities, and improve financial transparency
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience with exposure to payment operations
- Knowledge of general ledger treatment and general accounting practices
- Experience with month-end close – account reconciliations, resolution of issues, reporting, etc.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of both financial and operational controls
- Ability to partner cross-functionally across various departments
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in both Workday and Coupa
- Knowledge of ASC 920 and ASC 926 with experience in streaming content
- Experience with process improvement initiatives and automation

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is listed annually below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, long-term incentive plan, and various benefits including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
California, New York City, Westchester County, NY, and Seattle, WA Compensation
Base ($59,000 to $84,000 / year) + Bonus + Long-Term Incentive Plan + Benefits
Colorado and Washington (excluding Seattle, WA) Compensation
Base ($53,000 to $76,000 / year) + Bonus + Long-Term Incentive Plan + Benefits
