Account Executive - Philadelphia

TULA is looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our team. This role is responsible for building brand awareness, driving sales and delivering best in class customer service through implementing and developing field sales, education, training, and event strategies.  Additionally, the management and development of Beauty Advisors in key markets will be an important responsibility.  Our Account Executive team works closely with the TULA North America Regional Managers, Field Sales Director and Education teams as well as our retail partners to maximize consumer-facing initiatives and drive strategic in-store programs, events and education. 

This role is in a fast paced environment that offers an opportunity to be part of building a rapidly growing brand, with a focus on excellent strategy execution alongside our retail partners in store.  The Philadelphia area based AE will report directly to the Regional Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve targeted territory sales growth within budgeted parameters

  • Foster professional, dynamic relationships with all levels of retailer employees through education, training, and business review communication
  • Side by side field selling and training with retailers and Beauty Advisors
  • Implement, evaluate, and develop national and market specific branded retailer training and event programs to build brand awareness and increase market share
  • Train store and field teams on product knowledge and customized skincare evaluations to build internal and external brand champions and customer base
  • Develop support strategy by market to determine support type and location for Beauty Advisor teams
  • Hire, develop, and retain a team of talented Beauty Advisors
  • Evaluate business needs and schedule BA team accordingly and within budget
  • Analyze sales tools, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to continually assess opportunities, trends, call cycle evaluation, and overall productivity
  • Responsible for maximizing territory productivity by analyzing market-specific needs by door and creating appropriate action plans
  • Manage and coordinate branded store-generated and corporately approved events, including pre-event timelines, event execution, and post-event debriefs
  • Manage and coordinate high level trainings and educational programs with retailer partnership
  • Ensure brand merchandising and visual standards are aligned with company expectations. 
  • Recommend best practices and process opportunities to maximize team efficiencies
  • Ensure inventory optimization through proper store and corporate communication and evaluation
  • Provide innovation insight on competitive trends, insights, assortment needs, and best practices

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience as an Account Executive in beauty partnering with retailers including Ulta, Sephora & Nordstrom
  • A proven track record of achieving personal and territory sales goals.
  • Strong leadership, sales, customer service, budget management and organizational skills
  • Excellent at time management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Growth mindset that translates into a passion for the consumer in a fun and fresh way
  • Quick-thinking hands-on, organized problem-solver
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Impeccable written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook/Google docs, sheets and slides a plus
  • Have a desire to flourish in a fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial spirit

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs
  • Able to stand for up to 8 hours a day, with breaks
  • Spends at least 80% of time in the field/in store
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70k-$80k. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a competitive annual bonus with possibility for achievement based on performance and company results.  In addition, TULA offers a variety of benefits to eligible team members, including health insurance coverage, wellness and remote support programs, paid leave programs, education-related programs, Unlimited PTO, paid holidays, and others.
