
Senior/Principal, Product Engineering - Autonomy

Job Title: Senior/Principal, Product Engineering
- Reporting directly to the Product Engineering Manager
- Geographically flexible for home-office
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver on capabilities for TurbineOne’s autonomous vehicle focused efforts. You’ll be part of a team building out simulation infrastructure to behavior modeling.
- While there is a large opportunity to specialize, we’re looking for a generalist position in the uncrewed vehicle space.
- Collaborate with Design and Product Management on feature design, delivery schedule and trade off decision points.
- Be a product owner - there are no tickets to crunch here, be an active builder and designer, shaping the direction of T1’s code and features.
- Our technical stack is a Vue 3 client on a Golang server, with a MongoDB storage layer. We currently support a number of vehicle platforms, across architectures and AI accelerators.
Desired Experience:
- 5+ Years working in production or prototyping development positions.
- Experience with either ROS or MavLINK, or another platform demonstrating an understanding of the core vehicle software stack.
- Experience with API design and best practices for REST
- You have demonstrable experience working through ambiguity, navigating uncertain product domains, or becoming involved cross functionally.
- You’ve been involved in technical design review processes, review boards, or similar thoughtful exercises on technical design considerations.
