About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in managing cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience working with cloud environments, building and maintaining network and DNS infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and CI/CD pipelines. The role also involves scripting and automating tasks using Python, with experience in Node.js full-stack development being a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure on GCP.
  • Kubernetes & Containers: Maintain Kubernetes clusters and containers, ensuring their smooth operation and scalability.
  • CI/CD Pipeline: Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to support the deployment of various services and applications.
  • Networking & DNS: Manage and optimize network configurations, including DNS, to ensure secure and efficient communication between systems.
  • Automation: Leverage Python for infrastructure automation and streamlining operational processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to optimize cloud-based applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing cloud infrastructure (with a focus on GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and managing Kubernetes clusters.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and DNS infrastructure.
  • Advanced scripting experience with Python for automation.
  • Experience working with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  • Familiarity with Node.js full-stack development (a strong plus).

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud infrastructure.
  • Certification in GCP or other cloud technologies (preferred but not required).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
