About the role
We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to oversee and manage a highly skilled development team. This full-time role demands strong expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex development, with a focus on ensuring high-quality output, efficiency, and scalability across multiple projects. As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for guiding a set of pod leads, each managing their own team of developers, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Manage Pod Leads: Oversee and guide a team of pod leads, who are responsible for reviewing the work of individual developers. Ensure that the work produced meets high standards of quality, efficiency, and scalability.
- Technical Expertise: Provide leadership in the design, development, and maintenance of complex solutions, with a specific focus on Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex. Ensure best practices are followed throughout.
- Quality Assurance & Code Reviews: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by conducting thorough code reviews, setting clear expectations for quality, and ensuring all teams are adhering to coding standards.
- Integration Management: Oversee integration efforts with external APIs and third-party applications, ensuring smooth data flow and process automation.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure solutions are built with strong focus on security, data integrity, and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business requirements. Continuously optimize team productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Ensure clear and concise technical documentation is provided. Promote knowledge sharing within the team and with other stakeholders to foster skill development and technical growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex.
- Extensive hands-on experience with LWC lifecycle methods, data binding, event handling, and creating responsive UI components.
- Strong expertise in Apex development, including triggers, batch jobs, unit tests, and asynchronous processes for handling complex business logic.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Strong understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk API), integration patterns, and best practices for seamless integration with third-party systems.
- Familiarity with security models, governor limits, and performance optimization techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor and inspire pod leads and developers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Lightning Components and other front-end technologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and continuous integration.
- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with project management tools and processes.
