As a Delivery Manager in our LLM Training business at Turing, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution and delivery of high-quality LLM training datasets and AI model enhancement projects. You will manage cross-functional technical teams, ensuring seamless collaboration, adherence to project timelines, and alignment with strategic business goals. In this role, you will closely partner with senior leadership and engage directly with key strategic clients to deliver exceptional results and foster business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Client Interaction:

  • Lead technical teams in executing Supervised Fine Tuning (SFT) and Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) projects, ensuring high-quality and timely deliveries.

  • Serve as a trusted technical and project management liaison between Turing and our strategic clients, managing expectations and fostering robust partnerships.

Project Management & Execution:

  • Oversee project lifecycles from initiation through delivery, managing priorities, timelines, resources, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Coordinate workstream assignments across specialized teams, maintain clear and effective communication, and proactively manage risks and challenges.

Performance Management & Talent Development:

  • Monitor team performance metrics, conduct performance evaluations, provide actionable feedback, and identify opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the team.

  • Foster a culture focused on impact, innovation, and continuous learning, encouraging proactive professional development.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:

  • Conduct thorough quality reviews of team outputs to maintain consistently high standards, identifying areas for improvement early and implementing corrective actions.

  • Drive innovation in prompt engineering, process optimization, and product enhancement, contributing actively to continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical & Business Expertise

Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong understanding of software development practices, particularly in Python and JavaScript , with familiarity in modern software frameworks and methodologies.

  • Good understanding of AI/LLM techniques including Supervised Fine Tuning (SFT), Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), and prompt engineering.

Business Insight:

  • Capable of translating technical execution into clear business value, aligning team efforts with strategic client objectives, and identifying opportunities for operational and strategic growth.

  • Experienced in managing client relationships and complex project deliveries effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.

  • Demonstrated experience managing and delivering complex technical projects successfully.

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels, seamlessly bridging technical and business discussions.

Experience working with global, remote teams and fostering collaborative team environments.
