We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we are on the lookout for a dynamic Data Scientist to spearhead exciting initiatives within our Data Science team! In this pivotal role, you will not only contribute as an individual powerhouse but also guide data-driven initiatives that significantly impact Turing’s vetting and fulfillment operations. Key Responsibilities
- Take the lead in designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge data science workflows and pipelines.
- Conduct advanced analysis on extensive structured and unstructured datasets to drive actionable insights that matter.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and design stakeholders to align business goals with innovative data-driven solutions.
- Transform complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives and visualizations that empower executive and operational decision-making.
- Play a key role in product experimentation, opportunity analyses, and metric development.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, constantly finding creative ways to deliver value iteratively despite any challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering).
- 3-5 years of hands-on data science experience, including work with large-scale structured and unstructured data.
- Demonstrated ability to excel as an individual contributor with complete ownership of projects.
Technical Skills
- Exceptional SQL and Python programming skills.
- Experience with Google BigQuery and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Sigma).
- Familiarity with experimentation, causal inference, or forecasting techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building and deploying GenAI-based tools in human-in-the-loop systems.
- Previous exposure to fulfillment, marketplace, or operations-focused teams at a high-growth company or startup.
