About the Role

We are hiring a General Manager (GM) with a founder’s mindset and operator’s discipline to lead strategic accounts across frontier AI labs. This role carries end-to-end P&L accountability — you will act as the CEO of your accounts, driving financial outcomes, deepening technical partnerships, and ensuring delivery excellence.

The ideal candidate brings entrepreneurial ownership, technical fluency, and investment-level commercial instincts. You know how to build in ambiguity, create structure where none exists, and translate cutting-edge research needs into business growth.

Responsibilities

• Own full P&L accountability for assigned frontier AI lab accounts
• Expand and deepen existing partnerships, structuring new engagements that align with customer priorities and Turing’s financial goals
• Shape, scope, and launch multi-million-dollar programs across RLHF, evaluation, scaling, data pipelines, and agentic workflows
• Lead executive-level commercial discussions with research leadership and technical sponsors
• Translate ambiguous or early-stage research objectives into executable programs with clear scope, milestones, and ROI
• Oversee health and profitability of all active programs, ensuring responsiveness to shifting technical requirements
• Partner with internal teams to align delivery capabilities with evolving customer needs, without direct ownership of delivery execution
• Capture customer and technical signals to inform Turing’s service design, roadmap, and AGI infrastructure strategy
• Act as trusted technical-commercial partner for researchers, infra engineers, and executives inside customer labs
  
  

Requirements

• Founder/operator background with direct experience owning budgets, scaling products, or exiting startups
• Demonstrated ability to expand and grow high-value accounts in complex, research-driven environments
• Strong technical fluency in generative AI, foundation models, and adjacent workflows (CoT, RAG, alignment, evaluation, safety)
• Comfort engaging both researchers and C-level stakeholders, flexing between technical depth and executive clarity
• Track record of translating zero-to-one opportunities into scalable, repeatable programs inside existing customer bases
• Highly organized and resilient, able to manage concurrent workstreams and account-level P&L responsibilities
• Commercial instincts that balance growth, profitability, and long-term strategic alignment
