About the Role :
Turing partners with leading AI companies to power high-quality data operations at scale.
As a Strategic Projects Lead (SPL), you will play a pivotal role in executing complex, large-scale delivery programs that support the world’s top AI labs. You’ll manage distributed teams, drive operational excellence, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery across fast-paced, dynamic environments.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive on solving large-scale operational challenges, continuously optimizing systems, and driving measurable business outcomes through process innovation and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities :
- Project Ownership
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale AI data projects — from scoping and requirements to execution and delivery.
- Identify bottlenecks, iterate rapidly, and implement process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop scalable operational frameworks including incentive structures, training programs, and quality assurance systems.
- Collaborate with tooling and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and strengthen delivery capabilities.
- Client Partnership
- Serve as the primary point of contact for leading AI research and operations teams.
- Build strong client relationships by ensuring transparency, anticipating needs, and proactively driving performance improvements.
- Deliver consistent, high-quality execution that strengthens trust and long-term client engagement.
- Team Leadership
- Manage and align large distributed teams (50–70+ contributors) to meet performance, quality, and delivery goals.
- Oversee onboarding, training, and performance tracking to maintain operational excellence.
- Utilize data-driven insights to continuously improve delivery metrics and optimize team efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or project leadership roles.
- Proven track record of managing large, distributed teams (50–70+ people) and driving measurable outcomes.
- Background in consulting, high-growth startups, or operations-driven environments preferred.
- Graduate from a top-tier institution (IIT, IIM, XLRI, SP Jain, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Comfortable engaging directly with senior research and operations leaders in world-class AI organizations.
- Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and is passionate about process optimization and continuous improvement through data and experimentation.
