Operations Manager
Location: Brazil / India (Remote)
Role Summary
This role's primary responsibility will be to oversee and optimize Talent Operations’ processes and teams. Talent Operations team carry talents on through the selection, onboarding, ongoing contract management, and offboarding processes. With a pipeline of thousands of candidates per week, these processes need to run in a highly productized AI-first way, systematically and at scale. Standardization, setting SLAs, process optimization, tooling and AI Forward automation can define how day to day looks like in this role.
The ideal candidate should be someone who is hands-on and can navigate through all operational levels with depth - being close enough to the ground ops and at the same time being strategic enough to step up to drive structural improvement initiatives across both team and process aspects of the operation.
Core Responsibilities
- KPIs Management: Be accountable for operational metrics, proactively identifying trends, deep diving on root causes, diagnosing, planning and coordinating solution plans. Report KPIs and analysis to senior leadership.
- Problem Solving: rational thinking to break complex problems into smaller parts, prioritize based on impact and articulate action plan with the team and across stakeholders.
- Cost Optimization: manage operational capacity, balance resources utilization, drive costs reduction projects, coordinate vendors.
- Drive Scalability: lead initiatives that take operations to the next level of AI Forward automatization by building tools, testing new systems, design solutions and coordinating implementation.
- Talent Experience: Continuously evaluate and refine workflows to improve candidate’s experience.
- People Management: Manage teams of 15+ members and drive retention, motivation and support. Autonomously resolve team’s concerns and issues, partnering with HRPBs.
- Leadership development: Groom junior leaders to step up and become senior managers by giving them opportunities to learn and show impact while mentoring them.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as point of contact and act as direct responsible individual (DRI) for reporting to internal stakeholders, solving escalations and representing the team when needed.
- Adaptability & Collaboration: Operate effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments by switching contexts seamlessly, collaborating across global time zones, and maintaining accountability and clear communication to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of experience with Operations at tech companies, startups or consulting. At least 2 years as a team leader.
- Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in data management and analysis (Excel, Google Sheets, pivot tables, dashboards - SQL is a plus); ability to manage databases and process them into reports and insights.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English), with the ability to convey complex information clearly to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Organization & Prioritization: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and competing priorities while maintaining solid operational stability.
- Process Oriented: Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies, document workflows, re-design process and implement improvements.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working across global time zones, shifting priorities, and high-volume pipelines in a dynamic fast paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree is required..
