Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to join our LLM Data Services Business Unit. The Program Manager will be responsible for driving key initiatives and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact projects. This role will focus on two primary goals:
- Goal 1: Enhancing Data Quality and Availability
- Ensure the availability of high-quality, diverse data sets to support the training and optimization of large language models.
- Implement best practices for data collection, annotation, and validation to maintain data integrity and relevance.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify data needs and develop strategies to meet those needs effectively.
- Goal 2: Driving Operational Excellence
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget.
- Develop and implement scalable processes to improve operational efficiency and productivity within the business unit.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven working experience in project management, with a focus on data services or machine learning projects.
- Strong understanding of data management principles and practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Strong working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
- PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification is a plus.
- Experience with agile methodologies is preferred.
