MDM & Endpoint Management Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced MDM & Endpoint Management Engineer who can design, implement, and manage modern device management solutions across macOS, Windows, and mobile platforms.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on with Jamf, Scalefusion, and Intune, ensuring devices are secure, compliant, and optimized for performance.  In addition to managing MDM systems, you’ll also provide advanced end-user support for Windows and Mac devices, ensuring a seamless digital experience across the organisation.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

  • Design, deploy, and manage MDM/UEM solutions including Jamf, Scalefusion, and Intune for macOS, Windows, and mobile devices.

  • Co-ordinate with different OS support teams, to resolve any hardware issues.

  • Implement and enforce device compliance, security baselines, and configuration profiles across all platforms.

  • Collaborate with IT and Security teams to align endpoint configurations with Zero Trust, SSO, and MFA policies.

  • Administer enterprise tools such as Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian Suite, and Office 365.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve macOS and Windows-related issues for end users — hardware, software, and authentication-related.

  • Manage device lifecycle operations, including provisioning, patching, and deprovisioning.

  • Standardize and harden endpoint management processes using scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).

  • Develop and maintain SOPs, configuration guides, and internal knowledge bases for IT operations.

  • Monitor endpoint compliance, security posture, and system performance through dashboards and alerts.

  • Continuously assess and improve endpoint management strategies to enhance employee experience, security, and scalability.

  • Provide Tier 3 support and mentor IT support staff in advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Who You Are (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 4+ years of experience in endpoint management, IT infrastructure, or workplace technology engineering.

  • Proven hands-on experience with:

    • MDM/UEM: Jamf, Scalefusion, Intune (must-have)

    • Identity Providers: Okta, Google Identity, Azure AD

    • Collaboration Tools: Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence

  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation and policy enforcement.

  • Solid understanding of Zero Trust, IAM, and endpoint security best practices.

  • Familiarity with GCP, AWS, or other cloud-based enterprise ecosystems.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for Windows and macOS environments.

  • Experience implementing ITSM workflows and managing SLA-driven ticket queues.

  • Jamf/Intune certifications is an added advantage.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Customer-first mindset — passionate about improving user experience and operational efficiency.
