Turning Point for God is the broadcast ministry of Dr. David Jeremiah and exists to deliver the unchanging Word of God to an ever-changing world. Using Dr. Jeremiah’s teaching, we capture, curate, and communicate Bible Strong content through the power of media to share the Gospel with theological and creative excellence. Dr. Jeremiah is committed to teaching the entirety of God’s Word to the world, and his teaching is delivered in multiple languages to approximately 3 billion people across the globe through Turning Point’s various media channels.

Position Summary:

The Communications Coordinator – International Department reports to the Foreign Language Content Manager/Executive Producer. This position plays a vital role in expanding the reach and awareness of Turning Point’s International  Ministry through emerging digital platforms, traditional radio and television, and direct communications. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish and skilled in writing, editing, and digital engagement. They will assist with social media growth, email campaigns, resource coordination, and content quality assurance for audiences in foreign languages. 

Essential Functions:

General Duties

  • Collaborate with the Foreign Language Content Manager to manage social media platforms for foreign language ministries (Facebook, Instagram, X), providing engaging content and fostering audience interaction.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of foreign language email appeals and direct mail pieces to strengthen donor engagement and support.
  • Support the production workflow of foreign language television and radio programs to ensure timely and high-quality output.
  • Maintain media schedules, radio station playlists, and promotional tip sheets related to foreign language content.
  • Create product codes and descriptions for foreign language resources.
  • Track updates and delivery methods for international radio stations using Excel.
  • Schedule and implement social media campaigns for foreign language audiences. 

Reporting

  • Compile monthly reports analyzing foreign language social media performance, call center activity, and product sales; provide insight on trends and engagement metrics. 

Proofreading

  • Coordinate and proofread radio announcements (promos) to promote foreign language products.
  • Oversee the foreign language donation receipt process for accuracy and consistency.
  • Review and proof a wide range of materials, including study guides, printed publications, promotional inserts, appeals, and social media content.
  • Review and proof the translation of study guides, focusing on text flow and formatting (JPG, ZIP files, proofreading symbols)
  • Proofread social media posts to ensure accuracy and grammar
  • Gather drafts from previous English direct mail letters for reference, and review and proofread Spanish-language direct mail letters to ensure accuracy and grammar
  • Proof final versions of study guides and books in Spanish, ensuring content is accurate, clear, and ready for distribution

 

Qualifications: 

  • 3 -5 years of related office administrative experience
  • Fluency in Spanish with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Proficiency in computer and software applications (MS Office Suite)
  • Ability to type 50+ wpm
  • Commitment to the vision, faith, and values of Turning Point and Dr. David Jeremiah
  • Ability to function as a team-player with discretion, professionalism, and great judgment
  • Ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently
  • Some knowledge of radio/television/publishing would be a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Need to exude a passion for and understanding of God’s Word

 

Other:

  • The expected salary for this position is $26.00 an hour. The actual compensation offered will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, skills, and location. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package.
