
Business Analyst
Turning Point for God is the broadcast ministry of Dr. David Jeremiah and exists to deliver the unchanging Word of God to an ever-changing world. Using Dr. Jeremiah’s teaching, we capture, curate, and communicate Bible Strong content through the power of media to share the Gospel with theological and creative excellence. Dr. Jeremiah is committed to teaching the entirety of God’s Word to the world, and his teaching is delivered in multiple languages to approximately 3 billion people across the globe through Turning Point’s various media channels.
To accomplish this mission, more than two hundred staff across various disciplines are committed to sharing the Gospel and Bible Strong teaching through Turning Point. Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Data Systems & Insights, the Business Analyst supports organizational decision-making by delivering accurate reporting, dashboards, and data analysis under general supervision. This role partners with departments to gather requirements, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights that improve operational effectiveness and fundraising performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions under Director guidance.
- Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and recurring reports tracking key departmental metrics.
- Analyze data from CRM, fundraising, marketing, finance, and operational systems to identify trends and performance insights.
- Support the development and refinement of KPIs in partnership with leadership.
- Present findings in clear, concise formats tailored to business users.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and revenue performance through data analysis.
- Work closely with data engineers and technical teams to ensure data accuracy and report usability.
- Support data governance efforts by following established reporting standards and definitions.
- Provide training and support to increase adoption of dashboards and reporting tools.
Scope & Supervision
This role operates under general supervision. Analytical priorities and strategic initiatives are determined in collaboration with the Director. The Business Analyst executes assigned projects and contributes to broader initiatives while escalating complex or enterprise-wide decisions as appropriate.

Qualifications and Experience:
Required
- 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related role
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with structured datasets
- Proficiency in Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar)
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills or experience working with data engineers
- Ability to translate data findings into clear insights and practical recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience gathering business requirements and supporting translation of business needs into analytical solutions
- Ability to present findings clearly to business stakeholders
Preferred
- Experience in nonprofit, fundraising, media, or marketing analytics environments
- Familiarity with CRM systems and common business software platforms
- Exposure to advanced analytics or AI initiatives in a supporting role
- Understanding of data governance concepts and reporting best practices

- Position is exempt, full-time at Turning Point International Headquarters in Lakeside, CA
- Office hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
- The expected salary for this position is $75,000 to $90,000. The actual compensation offered will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, skills, and location. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package.
