About the job

As a Senior Manager, Professional Services Sales, you will be a global leader at a growing Professional Service organisation within a world class technology company. You will be accountable for the global Professional Services bookings targets. You will be a true player-coach as you drive services bookings results through both your own, demonstrated services sales prowess and through your leadership of a team of highly seasoned services sales professionals. You will work closely with Twilio sales in order to foster a tight relationship and to identify service opportunities and drive demand to the Twilio Professional Services business.  Further, you will work closely with Professional Services leadership to help grow the services sales organisation as we scale.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the front line of the Professional Services team responsible for fostering positive relationships with both our product sales teams and our customers.
  • Working with a wide array of personas consisting of c-suite leaders, IT leadership, project managers, contact centre management, and developers alike.
  • Working in the services field in enterprise-scale implementations.
  • Manage and develop a team with a focus on results and fostering a team culture that inspires excellence, fosters development and encourages collaboration. 
  • Working within the Twilio Professional Services organisation to manage a sometimes complex balance between sales, staffing and delivery considerations. 
  • Working in a fast paced environment with a variety of sales, growing as a manager and leader in your career.

Required: 

  • 8-12 years of professional experience in software, professional services, and/or contact centre, with 5+ years experience selling or directly supporting the sales process for a services practice
  • Have managed a team of individual contributors and have proven experience in services and/or sales operations and ability to leverage your professional experience to help develop others
  • Ability to work within a high-velocity deal team with a globally diverse set of deal team members, and adaptable in a work environment that has a start-up mentality
  • Comfortable carrying bookings targets
  • Experience around contact center software/services and/or custom application development and/or the ability to pick up on new technologies, new products and new industries quickly
  • Able to draft a high level solution architecture and quickly identify complexity, risk and dependencies
  • Excellent communication and presentation ability with the ability to quickly earn trusted-advisor status with internal stakeholders and clients alike

Location: 

This role will be remote AND based in the United Kingdom 

Travel 

We prioritise connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 25% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.
