About the job
This position is needed to help our New Business ISV (Independent Software Vendor) team generate qualified leads with high potential prospects in the technology sector. Partnering with our Field Sales and Marketing teams to build creative outreach programs that build new pipeline within your territory. Research and build new accounts via adding contacts, outbound calling efforts and sending strategic email, social campaigns. Develop strong relationships (both internal and external), and excel at building long-lasting partnerships with prospective customers.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Identify a list of Ideal Customer Profiles based on historic trends and market dynamics
- Execute daily email, call, and LinkedIn outreach goals
- Have a perspective on how to position Twilio to ISVs by technology verticals
- Responsible for a quota of qualified new business opportunities on a quarterly basis
- Align closely with Account Executives to build a prioritized list of accounts to target
- Partner with Marketing to execute on a variety of campaigns to target key accounts
- Conduct discovery calls to uncover opportunities that Twilio can solve

Required:
- 1-2 years sales experience in the PaaS/SaaS industries OR 1-3 years of sales or SDR experience in another industry.
- A go-getter attitude, who wants to develop new and innovative communications workflows.
- Feels comfortable making unannounced outbound calls to prospects in any vertical and is technically curious.
- Thrives in a team and competitive environment
- Creative and can find growth vectors for our business as it pertains to pipeline generation
Desired:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- General understanding of Sales Enablement Platforms (Salesloft), Salesforce CRM and prospecting tools.

This role will be remote, and based in the US.
- Approximately 5% travel is anticipated.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
- Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Minnesota or Vermont: $24.50 - $30.63
- Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or the San Francisco Bay area, California: $27.22 - $34.03
- Based in Washington D.C., Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay Area): $25.86 - $32.33
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
- This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits subject to plan requirements: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
- This role is eligible to earn commissions.
