About the job
Twilio is looking for a talented and results driven person who is passionate about US Payroll and who lives the Twilio Magic.
They also have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to advocate for a position while maintaining a collaborative, and open-minded approach. Someone who is a champion of streamlining processes and sees projects through to completion. We are looking for someone who enjoys and thrives in a fast-paced environment, has zealous attention to detail, good judgment, and is dedicated to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- APJ(Singapore, Australia, Japan, India) payroll processing with help of payroll vendors.
- After necessary training, support the international payroll processing for multiple countries.
- Oversee the payroll processing and management of assigned payrolls.
- Follow standard processes and controls to ensure continuous compliance.
- Preparation of vendor payroll input templates for payroll input and loading to vendor UI platform.
- Act as a point of contact for all payroll related queries from employees in India and other assigned countries.
- Effectively collaborate with the payroll vendor to ensure that all pay impacting transactions are collected, processed, and reported timely and accurately.
- Assist the Accounting Team with payroll journal and accrual preparations and the reconciliations of payroll general ledger balances.Adhere to all legal and internal deadlines.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and provide support and input when required.
- Act as a point of contact for all payroll related queries from employees for other assigned payrolls.
- Help maintain documentation of all payroll SOPs ensuring consistent and accurate processes.
- Deliver excellent employee experience in relation to ServiceNow queries.
- Understand employment tax requirements relating to compensation and benefits, including equity.
- Highlight the problems if anything is not going well.

Required:
- 5 plus years of experience managing payroll processing knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or another relevant field
- Discipline and ability to meet tight deadlines, and prioritize competing workloads
- Excellent written, and verbal communication skills in English.
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills while keeping customer experience top of mind
- Experience in APJ payrolls in jurisdictions.
Desired:
Excellent Excel and Vendor management experience.
Workday and Service now application Knowlede preferred.
Equity and Benefits Processing experience preferred.
Location
This role will be remote,based in India . Minimal travel is anticipated.
