About the job

This position is needed to forge relationships and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, establish durable processes from the ground up, foster a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing and drive accountability across strategic cross-functional initiatives.

This role is a unique opportunity to help fuel Twilio’s next era of growth and shape how the Marketing organization makes our strategy a reality. You’ll work closely with marketing, GTM strategy and sales leaders to be a leader in driving accountability and alignment across strategic cross-functional projects and global processes in an effort to support the successful execution of integrated marketing efforts. You are a multiplier who is highly collaborative across teams and finds opportunities to strategically uplevel marketing’s efforts, and effectively communicate and deliver outsized outcomes across the business. You proactively look for areas to provide value, excel at building relationships, establishing good communication channels, streamlining processes, eliminating ambiguity from goals and project plans and sharing trusted recommendations for the best path forward. This position will report to the Director of Campaigns Marketing.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Establish best practices and processes, foster a culture of innovation, and serve as the owner for strategic workstreams led by the marketing organization.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, identify the necessary resources and budgets to execute on strategic marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and successfully delivering and driving continuous improvement across marketing programs and processes.
  • Increase collaboration and communication across functions and improve visibility into cross-team dependencies. Anticipate change and own the tracking, coordination and communication streams to ensure success.
  • Engage the right stakeholders, drive process adoption and create scalable and repeatable programs. Identify, own, escalate and communicate risk in programs early and proactively suggest solutions to mitigate and resolve. 
  • Develop close cross-functional relationships to ensure teams work together and are bought into outcomes. Create timelines and cadences to ensure realistic execution. 
  • Influence stakeholders (including Sales, Ops, and marketing leadership) outside your direct area of responsibility to ensure smooth program delivery. Identify and make recommendations for new program opportunities based on your knowledge of what’s going on across the organization.
  • Design a durable, scalable feedback loop across marketing and sales to ensure enablement and engagement with marketing tactics, and helping to identify coverage gaps and proposing solutions to ensure effective follow up, conversion and ROI.
  • Identify root causes to ongoing issues, implementing new efficient processes and make high-value improvements to existing processes that impact multiple teams

Required: 

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, strategy or marketing campaigns
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and establish credibility upwards and cross-functionally to drive collaborative decision making, alignment, expectations and success
  • Expert program management skills and ability to use data and research to guide decision-making and resource allocation
  • Deep understanding of GTM metrics and measurements and related tactics 
  • Experience running multiple concurrent projects and programs across cross-functional teams.
  • A champion for fostering a culture of trust through feedback, communication, and transparency

Desired:

  • Experience developing processes and workflows with a passion for efficiency 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • A curiosity for or experience with leveraging AI to scale impact

Location

This role will be remote, and based in the USA. 

Travel 

We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, you may be required to travel occasionally to participate in project or team in-person meetings.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in British Columbia. : 129,800 CAD - $162,300 CAD

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
