Pay Range:
- The target hourly pay range for this position is $43.15-$53.94/hr. The full hourly pay range is $43.15-$64.73/hr.
- We provide an additional $2.00 per hour bilingual differential for those employees who can support our members' financial needs effectively in a second language; subject to verification of strong grasp of financial terms utilizing language skillset.
Compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer of employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.
Job Overview:
This position is responsible for ensuring that server platforms, storage, and related systems are secure, available, monitored and patched. Includes oversight provisioning and maintenance of the Hypervisor platforms, storage platforms, backup systems, patching platforms, availability monitoring and general security oversight.
What you’ll do:
- Oversees hardware and virtual machine asset management, including hypervisors and storage arrays. Maintain component inventories, documentation, and technical specifications.
- Manages and configures VMWare environments, including deploying and troubleshooting ESXI hosts and monitoring system performance to ensure optimal availability and resource utilization.
- Assists with the configuration, management, and monitoring of storage solutions, ensuring efficient operations and resource use.
- Monitors server uptime, outages, and drive capacity. Provides 24/7 support for issue resolution and alerts.
- Conducts monthly updates and maintenance on server operating systems to maintain performance and security.
- Addresses vulnerabilities identified by multiple teams, collaborating with stakeholders to implement fixes within set timelines.
- Manages out-of-band patching and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure minimal disruption and validate implementation success.
- Installs and maintains security software, responding to cybersecurity requests with necessary remediation and compliance documentation.
- Implements and manages new technical solutions for the credit union, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
- Oversees reporting systems to generate information for audits and regular reporting needs.
- Responds to and resolve technical support tickets promptly, ensuring high levels of service.
- Maintains backup systems to ensure data integrity and compliance, troubleshooting failures and optimizing performance while supporting disaster recovery initiatives.
- Actively participates in tabletop exercises to evaluate incident response and disaster recovery plans, documenting recommendations for improved preparedness.
- Conducts audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations, identifying discrepancies for continuous process enhancement.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of four (4) years experience in related IT infrastructure work. Experience with security principles and general management best practices required.

- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Total Rewards:
This position is eligible for Full-Time Regular benefits. Employees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage. Includes an option for Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance to be paid at a 100% by company for the employee only coverage. We also offer Health Care FSA (HCFSA), Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributions, and Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA). Employees also have access to Life and AD&D insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our 401k plan. Full-Time Regular employees accrue 8 hours of vacation and 8 hours of sick leave, on a monthly basis. Full-Time Regular hired employees also receive 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, 1 floating holiday, 16 hours of self-care time, and 16 hours of volunteer time (may be prorated based on hire date in the initial calendar year).
