Job Summary: 

Togetherwork is looking for an experienced Marketing Leader to drive the go-to-market execution for its Pet Care Product Group. This group consists of SMB SaaS Software solutions serving the Pet Care vertical market. The customer journey for these solutions includes trial, self-serve, and full-service sales cycles.

The Marketing Director is responsible for achieving aggressive growth targets through demand generation while also diversifying team functions to include product marketing and content marketing. They will lead the Marketing team responsible for Marketing Strategy, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Brand Management for their product. This position reports to the Togetherwork Chief Marketing Officer.

Major Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and scale the marketing function within the Pet Care Product Group, driving demand generation and strategic marketing initiatives.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the transition from SMB-focused inbound demand generation to a more enterprise-focused outbound strategy.

  • Define and manage marketing revenue funnel goals in collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams, optimizing conversion rates across MQLs, SQLs, and sales-qualified opportunities.

  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, incorporating product marketing and content marketing to fill gaps in current capabilities.

  • Oversee brand management, customer marketing, and trade show execution to maximize market penetration and customer engagement.

  • Drive lead generation and pipeline-building efforts through digital marketing, product marketing, and customer marketing strategies.

  • Manage segmentation and targeting strategies, ensuring effective execution of content marketing programs tailored to various audiences.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to enhance marketing and sales enablement strategies.

  • Manage SEM/PPC and SEO efforts, working with external vendors to achieve maximum performance.

  • Track and report on key marketing performance metrics, including demand generation funnel performance, conversion rate improvements, and pipeline contribution.

  • Manage marketing budgets across the Pet Care Product Group in partnership with the CMO and Product Leaders.

  • Balance strategic oversight (80%) with hands-on execution (15-20%) to ensure marketing efforts are effectively implemented.

  • Travel as required (7-10 trips per year) to attend trade shows and collaborate with teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading the strategic vision and execution of a full marketing functions in technology and/or SaaS businesses.

  • At least 5 years of experience leading a marketing function within a company generating $5-10 million in revenue.

  • Proven ability to build and scale a marketing team, particularly in demand generation, product marketing, and content marketing.

  • Strong experience in digital marketing, branding, and customer marketing.

  • Experience in SaaS software sales cycles, with expertise in optimizing demo-based marketing funnels.

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce (required); HubSpot experience is a plus.

  • Experience leading a metrics-driven marketing team and consistently exceeding goals.

  • Ability to drive marketing innovation and influence senior leadership to adopt new approaches.

  • Ability to Travel: Willingness to travel as required for trade shows, team collaboration, and industry events.

Salary Range

US Remote:  $135,000-145,000 USD per year + bonus
