Sr. Manager, Enterprise Systems - Salesforce (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Manager to lead and oversee our Salesforce ecosystem and related system integrations. This role is designed for a professional who has a deep background in managing complex systems, including ERP, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, finance systems, and warehouse technologies such as Zebra scanners. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in shaping and executing the architectural strategy that integrates Salesforce with ERP, finance, reporting, and ecommerce platforms, ensuring seamless, efficient operations across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce Leadership:

  • Oversee all aspects of the Salesforce platform including administration, customization, and ongoing development.
  • Manage the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring alignment with business strategies and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Lead a team of Salesforce professionals and external vendors to ensure optimal system performance and user experience.

Systems Integration & Architecture:

  • Design and implement robust integration strategies that connect Salesforce with ERP, finance, and reporting systems.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and refine system architecture that supports ecommerce initiatives.
  • Drive technical roadmaps, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient data flow between systems.

Technology Oversight:

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and propose enhancements to current systems to boost operational efficiency.
  • Ensure that all systems are compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Compliance and SOX:

  • Ensure that system integrations and technology implementations adhere to internal compliance standards and SOX requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to develop, implement, and monitor controls that safeguard data integrity and financial reporting.
  • Proactively identify areas of risk and implement corrective actions to maintain a compliant operating environment.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and execute a long-term strategy for digital transformation, with a strong emphasis on ecommerce integration.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on system improvements, process optimizations, and technology investments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology initiatives with overall business objectives.

Project Management & Vendor Relations:

  • Lead complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants, negotiating contracts and overseeing service level agreements.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates and adjustments as necessary.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in managing enterprise systems with significant exposure to Salesforce, ERP systems, finance systems, and warehouse technology.
  • Proven track record in leading system integrations, particularly involving ecommerce platforms.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud is required.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, finance software, and warehouse
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong grasp of industry-specific practices and business domain knowledge to effectively align technology solutions with strategic business objectives.

Leadership & Communication:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and inspire technical teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

The base cash compensation for this California-based role is below. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for bonus, equity, and a generous benefits package. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate skill, experience, expertise, and location and may vary from the amount listed above. Compensation may be different in other locations.

$196,402 - $231,932 USD
