About the Role

We're seeking an exceptional VP of Product (Technical) to lead Twitch's Commerce product organization. In this role, you'll drive the strategic vision and execution for products that pay out more than $1B annually to streamers through Subscriptions, Gifted Subs, Bits, and Turbo. You'll optimize existing product offerings to better serve streamers while developing new products that tap into emerging motivations around virtual goods, digital items, and shopping experiences. As a community-facing leader, you'll represent the Commerce business to creators, viewers, and external partners, ensuring our products reflect the needs and values of the Twitch community. You'll lead a team of product managers building innovative commerce experiences that deepen the connection between viewers and creators while expanding monetization opportunities across desktop and mobile platforms.

As we expand globally, you'll develop monetization solutions that work across different markets and payment ecosystems while ensuring compliance with regional regulations. You'll architect the future of creator economics on our platform by developing compelling monetization features, optimizing existing revenue streams, and creating new opportunities for economic engagement between creators and their communities—all while maintaining the authenticity of community interactions that makes Twitch special.

You Will:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Own the multi-year product strategy and roadmap for Twitch Commerce, balancing growth, profitability, and creator/viewer experience

  • Champion data-driven decision making, leveraging experimentation and analytics to optimize product performances

Team Leadership:

  • Build, mentor, and retain a world-class team of product managers across multiple product lines
  • Establish product development processes, rituals, and best practices that enable the team to move quickly while maintaining quality
  • Foster a culture of innovation, customer obsession, and operational excellence
  • Develop talent through coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities

Stakeholder Management:

  • Partner with the CPO, VP of Community Product and executive team on strategic initiatives
  • Present monetization strategy and results to senior leadershipNavigate complex requirements across legal, finance, and compliance
  • Collaborate with Engineering leadership to balance technical investment between new features, platform improvements, and technical debt
  • Partner with Data Science to develop sophisticated models for pricing, promotions, and personalization
  • Work closely with UX Research to deeply understand creator and viewer needs, pain points, and opportunities
  • Align with Marketing and Creator teams on go-to-market strategies and promotional campaigns

You Have:

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
