This position is instrumental in ensuring compliance with government property regulations and supporting efficient operations across our contracts. You will manage and oversee government-property in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) part 45, agency supplements, and company policies. This role requires coordination with internal teams, government representatives, and external stakeholders to maintain accurate records and ensure accountability for government property.
This is a hybrid position working up to 2 days per week from our Arlington or Herndon, Virginia office.
What you will do:
- Maintain records for government property to ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS requirements, including all areas of property outcomes including acquisition, receipt, utilization, and disposition.
- Receive and process government-owned property, ensuring proper documentation and accurate inventory tracking.
- Perform periodic physical inventories and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate and auditable records.
- Assist with preparing internal and external property reports, including e.g. Loss, Theft, Damage or Destruction of property (LTDD); Reports of Discrepancy (RODS); Item Unique Identification(IUID) registry; and reports of inventory and Plant Clearance.
- Support audits and property system assessments by gathering and presenting data as required and perform site visits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Coordinate the transfer, storage, and disposition of government property in alignment with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Support property disposition activities, including transfers, excess property declarations, and auctions, ensuring proper documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams including procurement, contracts, and program management to ensure proper property control.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on property management policies and procedures.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience and professional training
- 3+ years of relevant experience supporting Federal prime contracts in a Property Management System Analysis (PMSA)-environment
- Familiarity with reading and locating pertinent information within federal prime contracts, including but not limited to FAR clauses, contractual requirements, and monetary values
- Familiarity with FAR Part 45, DFARS, and other government property regulations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter and problem solver that can adapt to a growing business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice If You Have:
- Active DOD Security Clearance
- Experience with FAR/DFARS compliance and property accountability systems
- Membership in the National Property Management Association (NPMA) or certification
(CPPA/CPPM) - Familiarity with government property reporting systems, such as PIEE
Clearance needed:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

The projected salary range listed for this position is annualized. This is a general guideline and not a guarantee of salary. Salary is one component of our total compensation package and the specific salary offered is determined by various factors, including, but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, geographic location, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements.
Salary Range
$70,000 - $142,000 USD
